New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon had a concise but to-the-point reaction to the Miami Dolphins acquiring Jalen Ramsey on Sunday.
Ramsey was sent to the Dolphins, while the Rams acquired a 2023 third-round draft pick and tight end Hunter Long. This gives Miami a strong duo at the cornerback position with Xavien Howard and Ramsey.
Judon knows a thing or two about defense, having recorded a career-high 15.5 sacks last season. The defense was widely considered as the strength for the Patriots in 2022. Now, the Dolphins are starting to load up on both sides of the ball.
His tweet on the situation said it all.
“I mean [expletive],” Judon posted.
It will be intriguing to see how Miami’s trade affects the outcome of the division. One thing is for certain: The rest of the AFC East has been put on notice.
