New England Patriots edge Matthew Judon has not rested in his quest to successfully recruit at least one player to the team this offseason. In all the time he’s spent shouting out players on social media, he’s struggled to actually hook a free agent or trade candidate.
The Patriots have signed safety Jabrill Peppers, cornerbacks Malcolm Butler and Terrance Mitchell and running back Ty Montgomery. New England also traded for receiver DeVante Parker and linebacker Mack Wilson. Judon has had his sites on other players — including receiver DK Metcalf.
So when Metcalf tweeted that “Avengers Endgame gets me every time,” Judon had a quick response.
“It’s on repeat in foxborough. We can cry together. And what I mean by that I’ll watch you cry judging you the whole time. But pull up,” Judon wrote on Twitter on Monday.

He’s barely even trying at this point.
