Hibs were comfortable about their work after seeing off Kilmarnock by two goals to nil to jump in to fourth place.
Lee Johnson's men had a controlled first half before Manchester United loanee Will Fish rose highest in the area to power a header past Sam Walker against the side with the worst away record in the division. It was bittersweet, however, when Aiden McGeady was forced off with yet another injury.
USA star Matthew Hoppe then got his Hibs account open early in the second half after nice interplay around the Killie 18-yard box. It was comfortable for Johnson's side as the game edge towards a close with Kyle Vassell sent off after a VAR review for serious foul play following a collision with Marijan Čabraja. In the end it was comfortable for the Hibees who continue their march towards the top six and European football next season. Here's three things we learned from Easter Road.

Will Fish is a name becoming increasingly key to Lee Johnson and Hibs.
The centre-half has consciously made the claim he will be the new Ryan Porteous at Easter Road and is bringing consistency to a Hibs backline in desperate need of a reliable big defender. The 20-year-old also contributed at the other end with a big header to open the scoring against Killie.
The game against the Ayrshire side made it four starts in the last four and Johnson will be hoping for him not to flop...
Luckless McGeady
Aiden McGeady seemed to just be getting back in to the swing of things after a long injury this season.
The veteran just returned from a real setback at the turn of the year and while results haven't always been consistent, the former Celtic man has.
But once again injury struck against Killie as the winger seemed to pull up with a hamstring injury, which could spell bad news for Hibs.
Hoppe along
Matthew Hoppe will be buzzing with his start to life at Easter Road.
The young American came in on deadline day after it looked for some time Hibs would lose star man Kevin Nisbet.
But Hoppe admitted his focus was to get regular football on loan from Middlesbrough. And the forward rewarded Hibs faith with a big strike to seal the comfortable win. Hibs have lacked goals this season but seem to by firing on all cylinders at the moment.
