Matt Hancock says people will see him 'warts and all' as he prepares for I'm a Celebrity arrival

Matt Hancock says people will see him "warts and all" as he prepares for his arrival into the I'm a Celebrity camp.

Ant and Dec announced that "two top secret new arrivals" were on their way to the camp during Tuesday night's show. However, viewers had to wait until the very end for the duo to confirm that the former health secretary would be arriving tomorrow alongside comedian Seann Walsh.

The presenting duo confirmed the "worst-kept secret in TV" as they teased two videos of the new arrivals. In his clip, Matt Hancock told viewers: "When I’m in camp, people will just see the real me. Survival in the jungle is a good metaphor for the world I work in.

"People will see me warts and all. See the human side of the guy behind the podium. I don’t think I’ve got any fears or phobias, but I’m about to find out."

Meanwhile, Seann said in his clip: "I'm up for the best experience of my life, who wouldn't be! Over the years, I've read a lot of things about myself and it does hurt,” he continues. “I'd love for it to be a kind of new start, and just maybe change opinions."

Ant and Dec also announced a huge change in the format by announcing there would be no trial vote as the newest arrivals would instead face the trial. The duo told viewers earlier in the show: "There is no trial vote tonight because two top secret new arrivals are on their way and they are facing the trial." They then went in to break the news to the celebrities that won't be taking part in the trial.

Mr Hancock is expected to enter the show during tomorrow evening's episode. Matt Hancock's signing up to the show has been met with differing opinions online, as a source said that I'm A Celebrity bosses were delighted at pulling off a "sensational signing."
