Matt Hancock's girlfriend Gina Coladangelo has landed back in the UK – alone after the disgraced MP stayed on in Australia for a little while longer after his I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! stint.
Hancock, 44, stayed Down Under for a while longer to make the most of interview opportunities after finishing in third place, before boarding a separate flight to Gina.
Touching down on Wednesday morning, lobbyist Gina looked fresh as she made her way through Heathrow Airport, one day after flying home with Queen of the Jungle, Jull Scott and her fiancée.
While smiling at onlookers, Gina opted for a casual look as she slipped into a cream jumper and knee-length green coat ready to return to the plunging temperatures of England.
Gina completed her look with a pair of loose-fitting blue trousers, white trainers and a cross-body bag as she headed through departures to an awaiting car.
West Suffolk MP Hancock was believed to be eager to return to the UK to get stuck into work but his stay in Australia caused speculation as to when that might be.
His team also struggled to confirm whether the former Health Secretary would be donating his fee for the show, which had previously been implied.
Before Gina's arrival into London, a source told The Mirror: "Matt was due to go home on Tuesday afternoon Australian time with lots of the other contestants and Gina.
"But he left her to fly home alone so he could make more money with a big interview.
"Gina was lucky winner Jill and Shelly took her under their wing and they stayed with her in the queue."
Hancock eventually left Australia six hours after his co-stars and girlfriend left Brisbane Airport but he managed to sneak through without anybody catching a glimpse of him in the airport.
Ahead of his appearance in the jungle, Hancock claimed that he would be jetting straight back home to meet with his rather frustrated constituents.
He said in The Sun: "As soon as my time in camp is up, I will return to Suffolk to hold a surgery where I will catch up with my constituents and discuss matters of concern."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Hancock said on Monday: "Matt will be in West Suffolk this week and the second reading of his Dyslexia Screening and Teacher Training Bill will be heard in Parliament on Friday."
Following his decision to enter the ITV reality show, he faced harsh criticism from the nation, as well as having the Tory whip removed from him.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also hit out at him, saying: "I was disappointed when he went on the show… We've spent however long [on] all these challenges that the country faces – not just me.
"MPs not just from my party, from all parties, are focused on debating and trying to solve [the challenges].
"I think that’s what we should be focused on and that's why I was disappointed he went on the show."
