Like many people, I was very much looking forward to this year's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The gruelling reality show is an unofficial start to the countdown to Christmas, and after two years of campmates only venturing as far as Wales, I was buzzing to see the programme return to Australia. Back in the jungle is where I'm a Celeb belongs.
This year's line-up was released, with a good mix of famous faces, and enough comedic stars in there to suggest there'll be plenty of laughs along the way.

Everything was looking great for the show's 21st series until a big Tory bombshell ruined it for me before it's even started.
You'd have to be living under a rock to not have heard by now that former Health Secretary Matt Hancock will entering I'm a Celebrity as a late arrival. But why?
As seasoned fans will know, Mr Hancock is not the first politician to enter the jungle. Many have done so before him, largely to make a name for themselves.
But this is not a man who needs to build up his profile. Matt Hancock was the health secretary who oversaw the UK's response to covid, which came in for criticism after various missteps and decisions which were widely questioned by experts.
During this time, he broke a string of rules his own government implemented, including breaching social distancing guidance by kissing a colleague he was having an affair with in his office.
He let us down on protecting care homes, he let NHS staff down on providing proper protective equipment, and now he thinks it's okay to abandon his constituents to enjoy a spell on the telly.
Matt Hancock, you failed this country. You had nothing to offer beyond tears on our screens while people were losing loved ones on a daily basis.
The honourable thing to do would be to step out of the limelight and save people from having to endure even more of your nonsense. I don't care if your ego needs it, you have absolutely no business going into that jungle.
