Matt Hancock has finally left the jungle after avoiding elimination for almost three weeks.
Before he even entered the camp, the former health secretary's addition to the jungle hit headlines as he was forced to resign during the pandemic after breaking his own social distancing rules. The West Suffolk MP was suspended from the Tory whip for his appearance in the gruelling reality show.
In a remarkable turnaround, Matt went from the bookies' favourite to be the first celeb to be kicked out of camp, to making it all the way to the final. His efforts in getting stars in trials, and therefore make sure his campmates are fed, seem to have impressed many viewers.

However, others slammed him for "cheating" on Saturday, after fellow campmate Mike Tindall pointed out he may have had a plan to get more votes. During the penultimate episode, Mike said he thought Matt was promoting his name and phone number prominently. He said: "Once a politician, always a politician. Always polling for votes."
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, the MBE continued: “Matt’s making sure his t-shirt and his phone numbers are on display at all times. Matt clearly wants to win. I’m taking great pleasure in turning it around every time he leaves camp.”
Many viewers were clearly unimpressed with the move. Taking to Twitter, Lydia said: "Matt Hancock cheating? What's new?". Sam said: "I’m honestly struggling to come to terms with Matt still being in the jungle", and Erel said: "Mike taking one for the winning team, by hiding Matt’s shirt with his number on it".
Matt Hancock, Jill Owen and Owen Warner were this year's final three. Jill was the bookies' favourite to win before the show even got underway, and ahead of the final, bookmakers had odds of around 1/5 for Jill to be crowned Queen.
Matt came in third place.
