Starstruck Calvin Bassey admits he asked for Mats Hummels' shirt after the Europa League clash in Germany.
But he was left stunned when the Dortmund defender wouldn't let him leave without offering his in exchange.
Hummels is one of the most decorated defenders of his generation having won five Bundesliga titles with Dortmund and Bayern Munich as well as a World Cup with Germany.
He's not used to tasting defeat but his side fell to a rampant Rangers at the Westfalenstadion as Gio van Bronckhorst's team took the initiative in the first leg.
An experienced campaigner, though, Hummels was gracious in defeat when Bassey asked for something to remember the victory by.
However it wasn't a one-way transaction as Bassey revealed on Sky Sports he was caught off-guard when Hummels asked for his.
He said ahead of Gers' clash with Dundee United: "I asked for his (shirt) and then I went to walk off. But then he was like 'no, give me yours.'
"I couldn't believe it. 'Alright, cheers mate!'
"It was a big moment for me."
