Reports of Mathias Kvistgaarden flying to Scotland to complete a move to Celtic have been blasted as "stupid rumours".
The Brondby striker has been linked with Celtic in recent transfer windows with the 22-year-old a possible target in the winter window.
Talks had taken place between Celtic and Brondby over a deal for the striker but the sides were too far apart in valuation.

Brondby had wanted a record fee in excess of £10m to seel Kvistgaarden in the winter window.
Celtic talks ended last week but with reports from Sky Sports that a deal could be revisited in the summer.
However, there was viral social media speculation over a move for Kvistgaarden coming to fruition after a flight from Faro to Glasgow was spotted.

Kvistgaarden is currently in Portugal with the Brondby squad sparking theories of a deal to join Celtic over the flight route.
Danish journalist Farzam Abolhosseini has shut down the rumours though.
On X, he responded to discussions over a possible deal and Kvistgaarden boarding a flight to Scotland: "By the way, that doesn't fit. Stupid rumours."
Kvistgaarden was present at Brondby training in Portugal this morning.

Brendan Rodgers is keen to add to his Celtic squad on deadline day but admitted attacking reinforcements are more likely to be on loan.
He said: “I would think so. I think that to get the one that we would want for that longer term, if it's not there, then I don't want to just bring in anyone just for the sake of it. I've always looked from within.
“There's no point in bringing in someone if they're not the right fit. It might be more down that route, but we'll wait and see what tomorrow evening brings.”
