Rebecki on the fight's key moment
“I knew I must be patient because in this position, you can easy lose position. Then I waited for a good moment to submit him.”
Rebecki on being aggressive
“It doesn’t matter who I fight because I have everything. I know striking. I’m a wrestler, and if I change my opponent, then I don’t change my style. I’m an offensive guy who moves forward and don’t stop, and every opponent must (be on defense against me).”
Rebecki on what he wants next
“I want rest. I had a really hard, tough camp. Maybe next year, or in a couple months. Right now, I must rest. It’s more important who I want fights against. And right now, maybe you want to ask me about this: top 15. Of course (that’s what I want) – obviously. Give me some opponents from the top 15.
“I feel it’s a problem with finding me some good opponents. (After Nurullo Aliev pulled out) five people didn’t want a fight with me. Of course, it’s short notice, but also, this is Madison Square Garden. Everybody wants a fight here – but not with me. A couple fights ago, I also had this problem. Maybe I’m too tough an opponent. I don’t know. I’m not sure.”
