“In this fight, the first round didn’t go like I wanted and I had to change something. (Kicking) was part of the plan. I want to be a fighter who does everything – kicking, punching, takedowns, takedown defense. I want to do everything my opponent gives me. … Today, I did some (of those things), but not really good because I didn’t knock him out.”

“Right now, I feel a little bit tired. My opponent, I didn’t expect how tough he is and I tried to smash him in the first round. Unfortunately, he’s too tough and I didn’t get him out. I must change my technique after the first round and try more takedowns and control in the guard because I was a little bit tired after trying to knock him out.”

Rebecki on what he wants next

“I’m not sure – but maybe two or three fights would be good for me. Right now, one month to rest and maybe three months to prepare for my next fight. There’s one problem: I’m thinking about 145 and when I prepared for this fight, I needed more time to prepare for the fight – a longer time for my camp and time to show what we can do.”
