High-street retailer Matalan has found itself in a spot of hot water with shoppers who after fuming after they shared a snap of summer playsuits.
With temperatures across the country continuing to soar into record high numbers, it is understandable why so many shoppers are looking for some comfortable summer clothing. And it looks like Matalan was selling the perfect outfit with its range of bandeau style playsuits that came in a range of different styles and colours.
The simple summer staple cost just £9 each and came in a pink and green shade, as well as a vibrant tropical print and a navy stripe pattern. Unfortunately, it looks like quite a few of them have already began to sell out, leading some shoppers to fume at the fashion chain for advertising an item that they can't get their hands on.
When we checked online, the green and tropical print playsuits were unavailable after shoppers snapped them up like wildfire. Though, the cute pink and the navy striped playsuits were still available in a few different sizes.
Sharing the snap to their devoted fans on Facebook, Matalan captioned their summer fashion post: "We're living in these playsuits in this weather. Tap to shop for £9."
And it looks like quite a few shoppers would like to be living in the playsuit themselves, if they had gotten the chance to snap up one up.
"Why do you always advertise items that are not available to buy online? It's really annoying", fumed one shopper.
"None of them are in stock !!!!!!!", complained a second.
"Great nearly all out of stock lol", commented a third.
Lucky shoppers who did manage to snap up quite a few of the playsuits were quick to comment how much they "love" the outfit for the warmer weather.
"This is literally the only thing I'm wearing for the last 2 weeks . absolutely love them", praised one shopper.
"Got 4 of these love them so comfortable", raved a second.
"These are nice, good for holiday", commented a third.
