Matalan shoppers are impressed with a "pretty" £27 midi dress after spotting it online.
High street favourite Matalan has amassed a devoted fanbase thanks to its vast array of consistently stylish clothing, homeware and accessories. Like its high street competitors, the retailer makes use of social media to maintain a connection with shoppers, and keep them in the loop on all the newest updated stock and product launches.
Spring is on the horizon, with many people looking to spruce up their wardrobes ahead of the warmer weather and inevitable summer events. Recently, Matalan caused a stir after sharing its Et Vous Ecru Animal Print Midi Dress with its Instagram followers.

The dress, which costs £27, comes in a classic black and pink animal print pattern, in a midi length. It's finished with short, slightly puffed sleeves and a cinched-in waist. It can be purchased here.
To its 821K followers, Matalan shared an image of the dress and penned: "Hope you're ready to get all the compliments in this dress". It proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 700 likes on the first day it was shared.
Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section. Loraine said: "I have this dress it's lovely and so comfortable to wear". Chris said: "Love it". A third shopper commented: "Love that".
A fourth said: "Omg I need it! This is so pretty, would be perfect to wear for my friend's wedding". And another fan of the dress added: "Obsessed with the colours and print". Other shoppers simply tagged their friends to direct them to the post.
