Bargain hunters with a keen interest in designer dupes will be pleased to hear about Matalan's latest offering. The fashion retailer is stocking a jacket that looks almost identical to ones sold by designer brand Chanel.
The couture fashion brand is well known for its timeless, iconic designs - including its “little black dress”, the Chanel No. 5 perfume and the Chanel Suit. But as gorgeous as these items may be, their price tag is usually beyond hundreds or even thousands of pounds.
Fortunately, high street store Matalan - which is hugely popular in Nottingham - is selling a dupe for its iconic black and white cardigan jacket, at a much more affordable price. As reported by Liverpool Echo, the retailer's dupe will only set you back £36, and is complete with gold buttons and a black and white dogtooth fabric pattern.

The description for Matalan’s Et Vous Black Short Boucle Blazer online reads: “Designed in versatile monochrome tones, it features snug long sleeves, two front pockets and a timeless button up front to complete the classic look.” It is available in sizes eight to 20.
The blazer is similar to a number of jackets on the Chanel website. Shoppers can see clear similarities, from the tweed-look material and gold military-style buttons.
There are already several reviews for the blazer on Matalan's website from shoppers. One five star review wrote: "Nice jacket that can be worn with jeans for a causal look or over a nice black dress for a more classic look."
Another added: "Smart looking jacket ideal for dressing up or down over jeans. Sleeves were a bit long but otherwise a good fit." The blazer, which also comes in a lime colour, is part of Matalan's Et Vous range.
