The retailer, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its bargain clothing and homeware in recent years, often leaving shoppers impressed. This time around, the retailer is selling a blazer which is very similar to ones sold by fashion brand Chanel.
The blazer is similar to a number of jackets on the Chanel website, with clear similarities including the tweed-look material and military-style buttons. Matalan’s Et Vous Black Short Boucle Blazer is priced at £36, while similar blazers from Chanel would typically set you back hundreds - if not thousands - of pounds.

The product description for Matalan’s blazer reads: “Designed in versatile monochrome tones, it features snug long sleeves, two front pockets and a timeless button up front to complete the classic look.”
The £36 blazer has also racked up a number of five star reviews online, with shoppers praising it as “lovely” and “smart”. One shopper said the blazer is “ideal for dressing up or down”.
