Matalan's new spring arrivals have caused excitement among online shoppers, with many keen to snap up a "pretty" £20 dress.

Recently, the brand caused a stir after unveiling a photo, which appears to have been snapped at one of its stores, showcasing its new spring arrivals. Despite the erratic weather, many fashion lovers are looking to update their wardrobes with lighter outfits better suited to warmer days.

To its 794k followers, Matalan shared the picture which shows its White Spot Shirred Midi Dress (£20), its Blue Stripe Bardot Top (£9) and a variety of tops and bottoms, as well as another spring dress. Captioning the image, the retailer simply penned: "Tag a friend who would love these new arrivals... #matalanready #springoutfit".
The outfits were a big hit among Instagram users, with the image receiving more than 2,700 likes in just one day. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
