Matalan has announced its fundraising for the Ukraine appeal across its UK stores.
The retailer made the announcement on social media on Friday, March 4, and said it would also be making an “immediate donation” to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Matalan has also said it is “exploring ways” of donating products to those who have fled the conflict in Ukraine.

The brand shared an image of a statement on its Facebook page and wrote the following caption: “A message to our customers. We’re shocked and saddened by the crisis in Ukraine and want to help those affected.
“We’ll be making an immediate donation to the Disasters Emergency Committee and fundraising in our stores across the UK. Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine.”
