Masters tee times today: UK start time, schedule and groupings for round two

Early leader: Justin Rose takes a three-shot advantage into the second round at the Masters after sparkling opening day - (REUTERS)

Justin Rose takes a three-shot lead into the second round after an entertaining first day at the 89th Masters.

Britain’s two-time runner-up and 2013 US Open champion equalled his lowest-ever round at Augusta National during a sparkling start on Thursday, carding a seven-under 65 to sit atop of the early leaderboard.

It is the fifth time that Rose has led the Masters after round one, moving clear of the great Jack Nicklaus as he looks to improve upon his second-place finishes in 2015 and 2017.

Sitting three shots behind the 44-year-old are reigning champion Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg and Corey Conners, with Tyrrell Hatton and Bryson DeChambeau also in the early hunt.

However, a disastrous finish to his opening round including two late double bogeys leaves Rory McIlroy already with a mountain to climb in his latest attempt to finally claim a green jacket and the coveted career grand slam. Below are the Masters tee times for round two on Friday.
