The 2019 edition of golf's eagerly-anticipated first and most prestigious major of the year is finally upon us, with The Masters officially getting underway on Thursday.
Rory McIlroy headed to Augusta National as the favourite to banish his Masters demons and earn a Green Jacket while completing a career Grand Slam in the process.
However, the Northern Irishman faces stiff competition in Georgia, with four-time winner Tiger Woods hoping to end his 11-year wait for a 15th major title.
Patrick Reed is looking to emulate Woods, Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus and become only the fourth golfer ever to claim back-to-back Masters titles after his one-shot win in 2018.
World No1 Justin Rose will also hope to be in the mix, as will a host of other top names including Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, three-time major champion Brooks Koepka, Tommy Fleetwood, Jordan Spieth, Francesco Molinari, Rickie Fowler and Paul Casey.
