According to recent reports, Gregg previously weighed 16-and-a-half stone, but decided to change his lifestyle by ditching booze and takeaways.

The TV star vowed to stick to his health and fitness regime in 2017, and has stayed true to his word, showing off the hard work he has put in to achieve jaw-dropping results.

Gregg, who welcomed his baby son Sid in April with wife Anna, is thought to have started taking fitness seriously during summer 2018.

In January this year, a proud Gregg told his social following that he had achieved a weight under 13 stone.

Sharing a shirtless pic, he wrote: "Sunday morning alone in a gym. Abs and light cardio. Under 13st!!"

In September 2018, he opened up to Good Morning Britain about his dramatic body transformation.

The star admitted he cut back on fat and swapped fatty meats for leaner meats.

He said: "I reduced the booze, I've had to give up fry ups and I exercise more."

Gregg told The Sun in 2017: "When I was at my biggest I was having a daily fry-up, fish and chips once per week, takeaway a couple more times and drinking beer nearly every day."

"I’m a huge fan of curries, chillies and stews and it is still possible to lose weight and eat hearty meals."

Just last month, Gregg announced he was down to 12 stone and 13 pounds, with a body fat percentage of only 18 percent.

The TV star maintains a strict exercise regime by regularly swimming, doing bodyweight workouts and heavy weight training.

Gregg is also kept on his toes by looking after his son Sid, who is five months old, with wife Anne-Marie, 32.

It's Gregg's third child, as he shares Tom, 25, and Libby, 23 with his ex-wife Denise.

The couple had struggled to conceive and were considering IVF when Anna fell pregnant naturally.

Earlier this year, The BBC presenter joked about his shirtless snaps after he uploaded one of him puffing as he completed a gruelling workout in the gym.

He revealed: "I'm not doing it because I think it's in any way attarctive.

"I'm doing it because I'm quite proud I'm 55 soon and I've managed to get this fit. Anna complains when I photograph myself with my top off.

Gregg and Anna first struck up a romance when they bonded over a love of food.

Anna got in contact with him via Twitter to ask for some kitchen advice, and the two bonded from there.

At their wedding in August 2016, Gregg's MasterChef co-host John Torode was the best man.
