Gardai are ssseeking help to track down the owner of a lost snake in Dublin.
The reptile was handed in to officers after it was found ssslithering around in the Ringsend area on Monday night. The silver and brown spotted snake is currently being looked after by gardai in Irishtown.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are ssseeking the owner of thisss ssslithery sssnake that wasss handed in to them lassst night after being found in the Ringsend area.

"If you have any information that can help in reuniting this reptile with its owner, please contact Irishtown Station at (01) 666 9600."
The gardai aren't strangers to looking after lost reptiles as a huge snake was found in a Dublin suburb by gardai earlier this month. A "snow corn snake" that was found in Lucan was transferred to the National Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Ballivor after a night at Lucan Garda Station.
