A FIRE has broken out at a building in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency service crews have been called to Bath Street, near West Campbell Street, this evening.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was started by a car fire.
Fire crews have taped an area off. This includes the Q-Park Sauchiehall Street.
Large flames and billows of smoke could be seen coming from the top floor of a building.
One person who was at the scene said: "The fire alarm has gone off a few times when I’ve been in the gym, so this time nobody evacuated right away.
"One fire engine arrived and I turned around and the building was engulfed in flames. I saw a few firefighters run into the building."
Several fire engines are currently at the scene.
A man whose car is in the car park said he is told the blaze is on the second floor of the building and is worried in case he can't get his vehicle back.
