Massive cannabis farm found following raids in Bury

Police officers found a huge cannabis and fake gun following two raids in Bury. Photos from the scene show the cannabis farm filled with growing equipment and dozens of trees.

Officers also confiscated multiple black bags and a long life shopping bag full of the Class B drug during the raids that were carried out under the misuse of drugs act. Officers carried out the raids this morning (February 23) and say they are 'committed' to disrupting organised crime in Bury and have called for members of the public to come forward with any information about drug activity in their area.

The cannabis farm was taken apart (GMP Bury South)

Along with the photos, a post by Greater Manchester Police's Bury division said: "In the early hours of this morning officers conducted two S23 Misuse of Drugs warrants, following a forced entry a cannabis farm was located. The cannabis farm was dismantled and an imitation firearm was seized.
