A massive amount of cannabis worth €2.4 million was seized and a four-strong gang were arrested by gardai. yesterday
Four men were arrested in relation to drug trafficking activity after 120kg of cannabis herb was taken. The men, aged 25, 39, 39 and 46 years, are currently detained at Kevin Street Garda Station and Irishtown Garda Station.
The major seizure followed after gardai intercepted two cars shortly after 2pm on Thursday and searched a home in the south Inner city area, as well as a business premises in west Dublin.

The drug seizure was a result of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime activity under Operation Tara and two special units were involved – the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Special Crime Task Force.
Gardai added that investigations are ongoing.
