Masseuse charged over alleged sexual assault at clinic

A Sydney masseuse has been charged with sexual assault. (HANDOUT/NSW POLICE)

A Sydney masseuse has been charged with sexual assault after an alleged incident at an eastern suburbs clinic.

The 67-year-old was arrested at a home in Dover Heights on Monday morning following reports earlier this month that a 33-year-old woman was sexually assaulted during a massage.

He was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with sexual intercourse without consent and sexually touching another person without consent.

He appeared at Waverley Local Court on Tuesday and was granted bail on the condition he surrendered his passport.

Another bail condition was that he may not conduct any aspect of massage or similar services on any person.

He will next appear in court in the new year.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with concerns has been urged to contact  Crime Stoppers.
