Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
Reports first emerged at the end of last year claiming that the Reds could make a move to sign the England international during the summer transfer window. Since then, rumours have continued to surface claiming that Mount could leave Stamford Bridge in favour of a move to Anfield.
Mount is not the only midfielder to have been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer. He is alongside the likes of Jude Bellingham, Matheus Nunes and Gavi in being apparent targets for the Reds at the end of the season.

With Liverpool continuing to be linked with a move for Mount, here is everything that has been reported on the Reds’ apparent interest in signing the Chelsea midfielder.
Mason Mount to Liverpool transfer latest
The latest report from Football.London has claimed that Liverpool are seriously considering a move for Mount at the end of the season.
Given Mount’s current contract situation, it has been stated that Liverpool are considering making a move if talks over an extension at Stamford Bridge do not reach a resolution.
It has also been reported that Liverpool believe they can lure Mount to Anfield this summer. Furthermore, the article says that the Reds also think they can agree to a cut-price deal to sign the 24-year-old at the end of the season.
What other clubs are linked with signing Mason Mount?
As well as Liverpool, a host of other Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in signing Mount.
Manchester United and Newcastle are the two clubs who are reported to be competing with Liverpool for the signing of the Chelsea midfielder this summer.
Recent reports in The Times have also claimed that new Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is apparently keen on signing Mount at the end of the season.
When does Mason Mount’s contract expire?
Mount’s current contract at Chelsea is set to run out in the summer of 2024.
When the season ends, Mount will be on the verge of entering the final 12 months of his contract, which is a reason why negotiations over an extension have been so high profile.
Chelsea are apparently keen to hand Mount an extension, but it’s also been reported that the two parties are not close to reaching an agreement, with some outlets even reporting that talks have stopped in recent weeks.
