England international Mason Mount has sent a passionate message to Chelsea supporters as speculation over his future continues to grow.
Mount, 24, only has 13 months left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge, while he's been mooted as a possible target for Erik ten Hag when the market opens. Manchester United will continue their rebuild this summer and Ten Hag wants to make at least two major signings with Harry Kane still top of his shopping list.
However, the United manager also has his sights set on a dynamic midfielder. Mount fits the bill in that regard and he could be poised for a new challenge himself.

At a standstill with the Chelsea hierarchy when it comes to a proposed new contract, this could be one of the Blues' last chances to cash-in on their academy graduate if he does not pen extended terms. As such, potential suitors, such as United, Arsenal and Liverpool, are seemingly on red alert.
Mount has featured just once for Chelsea since February in the Premier League and former interim manager Frank Lampard has suggested he could move on. However, when addressing the supporters, Mount made no reference to his own situation.
Uploading images from the final day to his Instagram account, he added the caption: "It's fair to say it's been an up and down season, but your support has never dipped. Travelling all around the country, you were with us every step of the way and at times we didn't deserve you.
"But now it's time to have a break and recover. Thank you and enjoy your summer Blues."
