As Mushroom took to the stage again on The Masked Singer UK on Saturday night, fans grew convinced they had solved who she was.
The celebrity under the mask was none other than Charlotte Church, according to eagle-eyed viewers of the hit ITV series.
Clues included many references to education, with fans putting together the fact that Charlotte set up a school in her own house.
Mushroom said: "Let me present to you my forest. I get to watch the seasons pass by. I've always been interested in learning and growing from my roots."
Mushroom went on to say they are "passionate about communicating knowledge".
On hearing them, and Mushroom's vocals, many fans took to Twitter adamant that it was the Welsh singer-songwriter.
One viewer said: "Charlotte Church Is 100% mushroom, she set up a forest school!"
Charlotte Church has given fans a sneak-peek into her £2.5million Welsh home in the past - and it boasts its own school in the annexe, which the star setting up a private school in 2019 with a 20-person classroom.
Another Twitter user said: "#TheMaskedSinger mushroom is @charlottechurch", and a third wrote: "Charlotte Church is mushroom."
Another chimed: "Defo @charlottechurch as Mushroom! #MaskedSingerUK @MaskedSingerUK"
Mushroom performed as one of eight contestants competing to stay on the show, ahead of the next elimination.
Last week, Pat Cash became the fourth celebrity to be unmasked as it was revealed he was Bagpipes on the show.
Panellist Jonathan Ross was convinced it was fellow tennis player John McEnroe behind the mask, and was stunned to find out he was wrong.
Will Young was third to be unveiled a week earlier, after fans correctly worked out he was Lionfish on the ITV series.
This followed the first two eliminations of the series earlier in the month, with Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford being unmasked as Snow Leopard in episode two, and singer Heather Small revealed to be Chandelier in the very first episode.
Viewers have been predicting for weeks who the mystery celebrities are underneath the remaining costumes.
On Saturday nigh’s show, it was Panda, Poodle, Firework, Mushroom, Doughnuts, Traffic Cone, Rockhopper and Robobunny taking to the stage.
As ever, Jonathan and his fellow panellists Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall took it in turns to predict who was under the masks, as host Joel Dommett also tried to work it all out.
