Masked Singer's Robobunny rumbled as Westlife's Mark Feehily by Rita Ora

Rita Ora finally rumbled the identity of Robobunny on The Masked Singer a week before the final after viewers have been sure who it is for weeks.

While at first some fans of the crazy ITV talent show speculated that there might be two people hiding in the extravagant costume; after Robobunny’s second performance, people threw Mark Feehily's name into the ring, with them becoming more and more convinced it’s the Westlife star behind the mask as the new series has gone on.

Robobunny was back in action on last Saturday night’s semi final Masked Singer when he sang the Ariana Grande version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

And after viewers once again flocked to Twitter confident in their predictions that it’s Mark in the costume, with some f their guesses even being retweeted by the show’s official account, panellist Rita had a light bulb moment and also guessed Mark.

While co-stars Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross guessed at Donny Osmond and Michael Crawford respectively, Rita told host Joel Dommett: “So I’m thinking Westlife,” Jonathan joking: “But he hasn’t sat down on a stool once in the whole competition!”

Rita added: “I’m going to go with Mark, that’s a new name I’m going to throw in the mix”

While some fans were gutted that Mark had been rumbled so late in the competition, others applauded Rita's guess work, which came a day after Robobunny's identity was all but confirmed on Lorraine.

TV correspondent and recently ousted Dancing on Ice contestant Rhia Hebden pretty much gave away the fact Robobunny is Mark when she broke down three glaringly huge clues during last Friday's show.

She said a police badge in Robobunny's latest VT was a nod to the police themed opening to Westlife's World of Our Own video and cowboy boots were a nod to the boyband recording a TV series which saw them go to Nashville, the home of country music.

And finally, QR code which, when scanned, brings up all the years that Westlife performed at the Royal Variety Show.

Another VT hint at it being Mark behind the mask came on Saturday when Robobunny was seen with a jet pack helping him to go 'flying without wings.'
