Masked Singer fans know who Jacket Potato is and it's 'not Shane Richie'

Masked Singer fans think they have uncovered Jacket Potato's identity - and it's not Shane Richie.

Last week, Pigeon was revealed as comedian and actress Katherine Ryan on The Masked Singer. After being unmasked Katherine, 39, said: "I've enjoyed myself so much, I'm a massive fan of the show."

The latest episode also saw Fawn, Phoenix, Otter, Knitting, Jacket Potato, Jellyfish and Rhino - who are yet to be unmasked - compete.

Pigeon was up against Jacket Potato in the bottom two after the studio audience voted for their favourite performer, but was ultimately chosen to be unmasked by the judges.

However, Masked Singer fans think they know who Jacket Potato is after he gave a performance of Smooth by Santana. Previously, fans thought Jacket Potato could be EastEnders' Shane Richie, but now, many are convinced he is actually an American rock guitarist and singer.

One said: "We’re halfway there. Being the foil (to Jon Bon Jovi). Singing Smooth (a song by a famous guitarist). Jacket Potato is definitely Richie Sambora - tonight’s clues confirm it."

Chris Holliday added: "Changing my guess a 3rd time. I'm thinking potato might be Richie Sambora." Tracy White said: "@ThisisDavina @joeldommett jacket potato, 10000% the @TheRealSambora absolutely smashing it."

And Louise Francis said: "Every ‘Jovi’ fan ( including myself) across the country shouting at the TV 100% @TheRealSambora the clues are obvious to fans. Roll on next weekend."
