A masked gang raided a family’s Aberdeen home and made off with their luxury motor.
The shocked family were woken by the trio, who broke into the property on Morningfield Road at 4.30am on Monday morning.
Dressed in all black, they stole sets of keys from inside the house before trying to break into the garage.
Two men drove off in the family’s Audi A4 Allroad, registration number H16ARR, which was parked in the driveway.
The helpless family watched the brazen theft unfold from an upstairs window.
A third masked man drove off from the scene on a moped.
The victim said: “If anybody spots our grey Audi A4 Allroad reg H16ARR, please let the police know.
“ was awoken to 3 masked men who broke into my house, stole keys and attempted to get in the garage.
“They made off with my car in front of my own eyes.”
"Words fail me, my family and I are in total shock at the brazenness of this."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a car theft from Morningfield Road, Aberdeen at around 4.35am on Monday, 20 June, 2022.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident 0412 of 20 June.”
