Masked East Lothian gang steal motorbike in raid on home as police investigate

Police are appealing for information after a group of thieves wearing balaclavas took off with a motorbike.

On Monday, January 30, four young men in all black clothing and balaclavas stole a motorbike from a home in East Lothian. The Musselburgh man heard a racket on his property at Goose Green Road, and when he went to investigate, saw the group take off with his bike.

The bike was a black KSR TW 125cc and the men were seen on two mopeds used their bikes to assist with driving the stolen bike away.

They were last seen driving over the electric bridge with a witnesses spotting them walking past the rugby club towards Stoneyhill.

East Lothian police said: "Police are appealing for information, following the theft of a KSR TW 125cc (black).

"At about 19:45 hours on 30/01/2023 on Goose Green Road, Musselburgh, East Lothian, the owner heard noises at his address and saw a group of 4 young males all wearing black clothing and balaclavas stealing his bike.

"Suspects attended on two mopeds and used their bikes to assist with driving the stolen bike away from the address.

"The suspects drove over the electric bridge and a witness last saw them taking the bike past the rugby club towards Stoneyhill.
