Bruno Tonioli has been 'rumbled' as The Masked Dancer's Pearly King, as the final of the ITV show takes on Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings on Saturday night.
After being a permanent fixture on Strictly since its launch in the summer of 2004, Bruno has been missing in action for the past two series, being replaced on the panel by Anton Du Beke. And, if theories are to be believed, the fan favourite will go into direct competition with his former stomping ground as The Masked Dancer finale airs at the time as the latest Strictly live show.
A spin-off as massively successful programme, The Masked Singer, The Masked Dancer has once again been pulling in millions of viewers every week as fans become armchair detectives to try and answer that all important question 'who's that behind the mask?' And, after weeks of performances and VTs packed full of clues, viewers are now sure that all fingers are pointing to Bruno being eccentric character Pearly King.

During last week's episode of The Masked Dancer, people watching at home said that Pearly King's accent 'slipped' to reveal Bruno's famous Italian twang, while an Elton John clue eluded to Bruno's famous role as a dancer in Elton's iconic I'm Still Standing video in the 1980s.
Three clues about Pearly King were also posted on social media: a banana, a police station and a geisha. Reacting to those, fan tweeted: "Bruno Tonioli was the lead dancer in Elton John's (Rocket Man) I'm still standing video........he also choreographed Bananarama's Venus Video and appeared in an episode of the Bill in 2001," wrote one fan.
Also picking up on the clues, another replied: "Bruno was in a Bananarama video and dressed as a geisha for a Rolling Stones video."
While fan theories are confident Bruno is Pearly King, Lorraine TV expert Rhia Hebden said she was sure it was Danny Dyer behind the mask, mainly because pf Pearly King and Queens association with London's east end and, of course, Danny stars in EastEnders.
