Marvel Snap is a highly-anticipated card game made by Second Dinner, a team made up of former Blizzard staff. Most notable among the team is founder Ben Brode, who is the former game director of Heartstone. The game certainly has the pedigree behind it, and it’s finally time to see if they deliver on what’s promised, as it launches tomorrow.
This card battler is going to be much more fast-paced than Hearthstone, with matches taking roughly three minutes. Players will be able to play cards simultaneously, rather than taking turns, making for an interesting take on the genre that favors speed over hard-thought strategy. Plus, it features Marvel characters from all over the multiverse.
We’ll let you know exactly when you can get playing on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.

The game is officially launching on Tuesday October 18, although no specific time has been announced yet. As such, you should assume that the game will release at midnight in your time zone. Failing that, the game’s Twitter account has been releasing a countdown tweet at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST/7pm CEST for the past couple of days, which suggests that may be when the game is going to drop.

You can pre-register right now on the Marvel Snap website. If you’re on iOS then you’ll get a free Iron Man card, and Android users will get a free Hulk card.
