You can play as many of your favorite heroes in Marvel Rivals and engage in team fights with other players on an evolving battlefield.
One of the more iconic heroes in the game is Hulk, who is capable of pummeling his enemies into the ground with his ferocious anger and wild attacks. Marvel Rivals offers a lot of versatility when it comes to using this hero against other characters.
This guide aims to teach players about the basics of using Hulk's abilities and ultimate. It also gives some tips and tricks on the hero's general playstyle so that you can maximize your efficiency on the battlefield.
Hulk's Abilities
As a Vanguard hero, Hulk is generally the one who will take the brunt of the enemy team's attacks to protect his allies. His basic attack is called Heavy Blow and is where Hulk swings his fist at his target in melee range, according to Dot Esports.
Hulk's first ability is Indestructible Guard, which generates gamma shields for Hulk and any allies nearby. This will absorb and convert any damage taken into energy for your ultimate, HULK SMASH!
The second ability is Radioactive Lockdown, which is where Hulk emits gamma energy in order to put enemy heroes in a quantum void. This renders them immobilized and immune to all ability effects.
Next is Incredible Leap, which is the signature of Hulk in the comics and movies and has him performing a charged leap. This ability allows the hero to knock a flying enemy into the ground to make them easier to hit, Dexerto said.
Hulk's last active ability is known as Gamma Burst and is simply a damaging ability where he emits gamma-ray bursts to hit enemies.
His passive is known as Gamma Boost, where he can charge Doctor Strange or Iron Man with gamma radiation to unleash devastating attacks.
Hulk's Ultimate and Playstyle
This Vanguard hero's ultimate is known as HULK SMASH! And will unleash his stored gamma energy.
This transforms Hero Hulk into Monster Hulk for a limited time. This changes some of his other abilities and gives access to World Ender where he grabs and smashes an enemy in front of him.
Surprisingly for a Vanguard hero, Hulk has good mobility in Marvel Rivals, which means he can come to assist allies that need help. This is mainly due to his Incredible Leap ability that covers a good bit of distance.
Be careful when taking damage as if you lose all of your health as Hero Hulk, you will revert to Bruce Banner. The genius scientist is relatively weak in a fight and only has access to a pistol, making him very vulnerable.
Hulk excels at being a dive tank where he enters the fray and gets up close and personal with enemy heroes to disrupt their formation. This gives teammates ample time to pick them off one by one.
You should be targeting heroes who have a lower health pool to give your team an advantage in numbers. Hulk's main playstyle is building up energy for HULK SMASH! and then becoming aggressive against enemies, according to Deltias Gaming.
