Martyn Ford almost rips punch machine off the ground with huge power shots

Martyn Ford has almost ripped a punch machine off the wall as he continues his preparations for the clash against the 'Iranian Hulk'.

The British star is preparing for his boxing debut against 'Iranian Hulk' Sajad Gharibi which will take place at the 02 Arena in London.

Ford has frequently been branded the 'World's Scariest Man' as he stands at around six feet nine inches tall and is able to weigh around 370lbs.

As his preparations continue Ford has posted a video of him thumping thunderous shots into a punch machine which is nearly ripped from its fixed position in the ground.

The screws that are keeping the machine fixed to the floor are seen visibly loosening as Ford displayed his power for his social media following of over three million.

He vowed to continue his progress with five weeks remaining until fight night, with the post captioned : "So what was supposed to be a light session ended up with a game of 'can you knock the machine out the floor'.

"Oh of course we can. We have five weeks to get punching properly, five weeks to polish this up, five weeks to do nothing else but focus on the task in hand.

'And someone has five weeks to think of as many excuses as he can as to why he can't make it. April can't come fast enough, who have you got to win?"

Ford has been ready to settle his rivalry with the 'Iranian Hulk' for several years ever since they first planned to fight during his time at Polish MMA promotion KSW.

His opponent has been seen using more questionable training methods including a wrestling match with three sparring partners ahead of the clash.

The British star has also received advice and tips from heavyweight star Dillian Whyte and Glory kickboxer Rico Verhoeven ahead of his maiden boxing debut.

Ford is confident that he could find some longevity in his fighting career and has even recently revealed his desire to face 'The Rock' Dwayne Johnson in the future.

However for now he is focused on defeating upcoming opponent Gharibi who he has branded "disgusting" and "useless".

"I just want to smash his head in," Ford told Mirror Fighting . "It won’t give me any sense of achievement or pride to win, because I genuinely don’t think he will bring anything to the table that will allow me to be proud of myself.

"You can’t feel good about beating someone up that is useless. For me this is about settling some nonsense that has gone backwards and forwards for two or three years.

"The stuff that has been said from him and his camp and his fans, so I have just got to the point where I want to fight. I am not someone who takes trolling to heart, but there is a point where he has just gone to things that are disgusting and rude."
