Martin Lewis has responded to rumours that he is lined up to host a new version of Love Island.
ITV announced the hunt for "vibrant parents" was on after they officially confirmed their plans for a reality dating series following the older generation last week. The show is expected to bounce off Love Island's overall set-up but shed its influencer themes in favour of a stripped-back, real feeling.
Many people have speculated that Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis will be the one to take the helm to help the couples find love. But he has responded to the rumours, as he broke his silence on the matter on Twitter.

Giving his verdict, the 50-year-old said: "Apparently there's media speculation that I'm in running to present ITV's new older person's Love Island! Let me tell you exclusively... And utterly unsurprisingly... It's never been mentioned to me, and if it were, I'd politely decline - I've got a lot of work on!"
Fans were disappointed as they said they would have loved to see it. Dan said: "Would have been great though. Especially when you said 'have a good weekend, I’ll be back on Monday' and walked out every Friday."
Paul said: "It would be great. When they get a text message, it could be a useful money saving tip each time." Julie said: "Now that I'd love to see lol x".
