Martin Lewis has issued urgent advice to anyone looking to travel home this Christmas.
The finance guru returned to host another edition of Money Show Live last night. The episode of the popular consumer programme was devoted to savings advice.
However, he ended the show with five quick bits of advice as he addressed wider financial issues. The countdown to Christmas is on as people will be making arrangements for how they are going to celebrate the festive season.

The Money Saving Expert said anyone looking to travel by train this Christmas should look to buy their ticket now. He said: "Now is the time to start booking them because generally 12 weeks before travel is when they release tickets.
"When they release tickets is when most of the cheaper super advanced type fares are available so it's easier to get a cheap ticket. We're around 12 weeks now and over the next couple of weeks they'll be releasing the tickets so if you're travelling have a look out for that one."
Martin was in a passionate mood during the episode as he also explained why people with inactive savings must act now. He said: "Forget riding the market. Take the fire and the passion you've got hopefully from listening to me right now tell you that you are being ripped off and just go and sort it now."
