Martin Lewis has hit back at an online troll after being told to "be quiet".
The finance guru has been keeping his many followers up-to-date with the latest news as the cost of living crisis worsens. Mr Lewis is known for his switching and money-saving tips, but recent events have left even him at a loss at how to help people.
The Money Saving Expert founder issued a series of tweets this morning, updating people on the latest energy prices. He also shared guidance for those on fixed tariffs.

And one rude Twitter user was blocked for their response. Part of their tweet said: "Martin please tell us does this mean you will be quiet?"
Mr Lewis shared the tweet, adding: "For you yes. To facilitate this I have blocked you. And to the few others who tweet me similar sentiments, please have even a tiny modicum of decency.
"You are free to unfollow and you don't need to inform me."
Many fans were quick to thank Martin for his frequent guidance and advice. Alison Donovan said: "Hey @MartinSLewis … big shout out to you and big thanks to you for all the information you give us … hugely appreciated"
Lee Houten said: "Thank you for filtering the trolls. We need and welcome your voice". Jane Louise Porter said: "Thank you for doing what you do".
