A Martin Lewis fan has shared how she got £600 free cash while claiming Universal Credit.
During this week's episode of his Money Show: Live on ITV, Mr Lewis spoke about Help to Save, a government scheme that can help people on low incomes build on their savings.
One woman said she had seen the Money Saving Expert founder discuss the tip, and had put it into practice.

The woman, who said she was 61 and lives and works on a farm, is on Universal Credit. She said with the cost of energy and feed, she struggles to make ends meet, and often doesn't know if there'll be any money left to go to the shops with each month.
But she was determined to try to save. She said: "I changed my electricity, my telephone and the broadband, I looked at all of those outgoings and made the savings".
She paid £50 each month for two years, meaning she had £1200 in her account. The Government then tops this up by 50%, meaning she was given an extra £600 for free.
She added: "It's amazing", before saying she would recommend anybody who may be able to give the scheme a try to do so.
An MSE article explains to qualify for Help to Save you need to be a UK resident and either:
- Receive Universal Credit and have had employment income of £658.64 in the last monthly assessment period; or
- Be entitled to working tax credit and receive working or child tax credit
