Martin Lewis has explained when millions of Brits will receive the second £324 cost of living payment.
With the cost of living crisis making it extremely tough on households at the moment, UK residents claiming Universal Credit, Pension Credit or income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance will receive further cash support next month.
Following the first instalment of the cost of living payment, worth £326, those entitled to the cash can expect the second payment, worth £324, sometime from November 8.
In the latest episode of The Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV, the MoneySavingExpert founder said: "For most people, they [the payments] will be paid between November 8 and 23.
"Only people who are on working tax credit or child tax credit and don't get any other benefits, they may get it a little bit later.
"To be eligible for this, you have to be claiming one of the eligible benefits between August 26 and September 25 and you're due it even if you didn't get the first payment."
Those who received the first payment do not need to do anything and will automatically receive the £324 sum.
For the first £326 payment, the criteria was that you must have received a benefit payment - or later found to have been eligible - between April 26, 2022 and May 25, 2022.
To get the second half of the £650, you need to have been paid - or been eligible for - one of the benefits listed above for any day between August 26, 2022 and September 25, 2022.
During the first instalment, Tax Credit households had to wait until September to receive their money and it is likely that these people will have to wait a little longer again for the second lot.
Pensioners who qualify for the Winter Fuel Payment will also receive a further £300 to help pay for costly bills.
Martin said: "If there is a state pensioner living in a household between September 19 and 25 - that's the eligibility date - then there will be £300 paid to that household.
"It will be automatic and will be paid on top of the Winter Fuel payment."
