Martin Lewis has explained that millions of people who are in work will receive cost of living payments from the Government in 2023.
It comes after the Money Saving Expert founder shared an update on when many people can expect £900 in financial support amid the worsening cost of living crisis. On Tuesday, Mr Lewis said the cash will arrive in three instalments.
In a tweet, he added that some eight million people on means-tested benefits would receive £301 in "Spring", after April 6.

Mr Lewis said a further £300 would land in around October or November, with an extra £299 in Spring 2024, before the end of the tax year. Both of these time periods, he clarified, were just guesses.
Later on Tuesday, responding to the cry of many who asked him why there was "no help for working people", Mr Lewis cleared up that many people who work will actually receive the cash.
He said: "Many replying 'why no help for people who work, just those who do nothing'. Actually 40%ish of those on Universal Credit are working - means tested benefits includes in-work benefits. A decent chunk of the rest have illness, disabilities or are carers. It's not binary."
