Martin Compston shares new snaps while filming for new show Scottish Fling

Line of Duty star Martin Compston is back in the studio alongside TV host Phil MacHugh, as they continue recording for a new BBC show.

The Greenock-born actor shared a snap of the pair recording voiceovers for Scottish Fling, a series that sees the pair tour Scotland, to find out what makes our lovely wee nation tick. Martin, 38, said he 'can't wait' for fans to see what he's been working on.

He wrote: "In the booth all day with my boy Phil MacHugh cant wait for you all to see this, lovely watching our journey all come together #scottishfling."

Martin also teased the title card for Scottish Fling in the background, exciting fans for its release this year on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. The duo hope to find out “what makes modern Scotland tick” and how the nation is being shaped by its people and landscape.

Phil, 37, posted the same snap online.

He wrote: "The boys are back. "In the booth with Martin Comston for #ScottishFling.

"Coming soon to BBC, BBC Two, BBC Scotland #Travel #Presenters #BBC #UK."

'Excited' fans commented in their droves with on claiming it was 'the best news' they'd heard all day.

One posted: "Yass, cannae wait".

Another commented: "Really looking forward to seeing this."

A third wrote: "The boys are back in town.

"Yes, so excited for this."

While another posted: "So excited for this. Cannot wait to watch it."

And a fifth commented: "Best news I’ve heard today."

Scottish Fling has no official release date as of yet. Keep your eyes peeled on Martin and Phil's social media profiles for updates.
