Martin Compston says he loved being back with the team to make season two of drama series Traces.
The Scot, who also appears in Our House, filmed series two of Alibi crime drama Traces in Dundee last May.
As the follow-up to the original in 2019, the second series will continue to delve into the world of forensic science as the women of the Scottish Institute of Forensic Science (SIFA) attempt to get to the bottom of who's behind a series of cruel bombings in Dundee.
The show also stars Molly Windsor and Laura Fraser and is set to air this month.
Martin told his Twitter followers: "Was great being back working with such a lovely team, two weeks to go."
He had earlier told RadioTimes.com : "In series two the story has moved on a little bit. At the end of series one Daniel had turned in some evidence against his dad and his dad had been arrested.
"We’re now just before the trial of his dad for the murder of his girlfriend Emma’s mum. You find Daniel and Emma in quite a happy place, actually, they reconciled at the funeral at the end of series one and for a split second they’re kinda happy and then the wheels start to come off a bit…"
Martin is also filming horror series The Rig for Amazon Prime Video and will soon star in ITV thriller Our House, which tells the story of a woman who finds strangers have moved into her house.
Martin plays Bram, the missing husband of the woman who encounters the strange situation.
