Hibs manager Lee Johnson is not ruling out a potential Martin Boyle return at Easter Road amid some uncertainty over his Saudi Arabian future.
Johnson is only just in the job as Hibs boss but is well aware of the impact made by the Australian international during his Easter Road stint.
He netted 14 times during the first half of last season - including a hat-trick in League Cup semi-final against Rangers - before sealing a money-spinning move to the middle east and Al-Faisal for a fee around £2.5 million in January.
He's on financially life-changing money in Saudi Arabia but they were relegated to the nation's second tier this week, just weeks after Boyle helped Australia qualify for the Qatar World Cup later this year.
Hibs are said to have a buy-back clause on him and Johnson hasn't ruled out a future move, although he knows the state of play currently.

Speaking of the winger, the former Sunderland boss said: “He’s under contract with another club.
"He’s a good player and I’ve always admired him and often looked when I was at clubs that could be in the market to buy a player like that.
"He’s always been very high on our list. It’s not in our hands, any transfer. Right now I wouldn’t say there’s anything but there would always be an interest.
"You keep an eye on any situation. But then you might spend your money or someone has done brilliantly and there’s no slot, you might have to move someone out first.”
