Jamaica is moving on to the knockout rounds in the 2023 World Cup, playing Brazil to a draw … which means Brazil is shockingly going home.
After the stunner, there were so many emotions on the field — Jamaica celebrated with tears and hugs, while you could see FOX Sports cameras capturing Brazil’s stunned players who seemingly couldn’t believe it.

But there was also this video you’ll see below, one of the many classy moments we’ve seen in this World Cup: Marta, an absolute legend of the game, got a hug from Jamaica’s Bunny Shaw, and then there was an exchange of some sort.
We don’t know exactly what was said, but you could see a heartfelt Shaw expressing something to Marta — perhaps what Marta meant to her. And Marta pointed at her and gave her something that Shaw thanked her for.
