New Las Vegas Raiders coach Pete Carroll’s introductory press conference on Monday featured a surprise cameo by one of his former players.
Former Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch, who played for Carroll with the Seattle Seahawks, crashed Carroll’s presser and excitedly yelled “RAIDERS!” as he was toward the back of the press room.
RANKING THE 6 NEW NFL COACHING HIRES: Which team did the best?
Carroll didn’t seem all that surprised by Lynch’s jubilant Raiders chant, as we’re sure he knew his former running back was in attendance for the event.
Lynch remains one of the best NFL personalities out there, and it was absolutely delightful to hear him pop up during Carroll’s introduction.
Raiders fans should love having Lynch in the fold as a proud alumnus.
