During Married at First Sight many viewers expect to see drama in marriages and the 2022 series has seen plenty. There have also been dramas between brides and grooms who are not coupled up.
Thomas, who is married to Adrian, and April, who is married to George, have clashed since a catastrophic dinner party. In a very messy series of events both April and Thomas accused each other of talking about another bride Chanita behind her back.
Since then Thomas and April have struggled to get on and things came to an explosive head during a fiery row at the couples' retreat on Monday, September 26. Thomas accused April of being a "b*tch" and a "liar" before storming out.
He said that April and groom George were the "fakest couple" and he told April: "You're the fakest person here." Launching into his rant Thomas said: "It really f**ks me off that I have been made out to be a f**king liar because I am not a liar. My name has been dragged through the mud because of your lies."
April then burst into tears and tried to defend herself. After Thomas returned to the table the group agreed to move past the drama, however, there was still a lot of tension in the air.
Many of the viewers on Twitter agreed with Thomas and his opinions of April. One said: "Thomas is dramatic af but I still believe him over April."
Another added: "For all of his dramatic delivery, Thomas isn’t wrong with his instincts." A third said: "April is so two faced. Telling Whitney that she's fed up of reassuring George but then saying in front of everyone that she will reassure him until the day they die if she has too. She cannot be trusted."
And: "April is SO fake, Thomas has got it spot on why doesn’t anyone else see it!?"
A teaser for the next episode of Married At First Sight on Tuesday, September 27 showed Thomas set to cause yet more drama at a dinner party, as accusations were hurled across the table. Elsewhere in the episode signs of a blossoming relationship began to emerge between Matt and Whitney, despite them both being married to other people.
Matt is married to Gemma and Whitney is married to Duka, however, neither marriages have been successful and there are many rumours Matt and Whitney cheat on their partners with each other. Matt has denied these claims.
