Married At First Sight UK star Jess takes swipe at 'expert' pairing as she quits series

The first relationship casualties of Married at First Sight have been revealed with two couples exiting the show. Pjay and Jess and Lara and Richie were unable to make their marriages work.

Jess and Pjay's relationship did not get off to a great start when Jess burst into tears minutes after meeting Pjay for the first time and finding out he was a stripper. She has hit back at the relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas as she does not believe she was paired well.

This is not the first time Jess has clashed with the relationship experts as she accused Paul of "making her sound like a b**ch" while on the show. Now since leaving the show she has hit back at the relationship experts, saying they do not know best.

She said: "I can hold my head high knowing I have been true to myself and honest throughout this experiment!! At the end of the day you can't fake it!!! Even if "experts" think they know best...you know what's best for you!"

Jess also recorded a video, encouraging women to make their own decisions and not follow the lead of other people. She said: "For every single girl and woman out there, always trust your gut follow your instincts and never let anyone tell you what is right for you because the only person that knows what is best for you in life is yourself so stick by that and you'll always be winning in life."

In a new twist in the show Married at First Sight will be introducing two new couples to the show halfway through the series. Sophie, Gemma, Matt, and Jonathan are joining the show and viewers will meet them in the episode airing on Thursday, September 15. You can read more about the new contestants here.
