Married At First Sight UK star Kwame Badu has revealed the real reason he didn’t have sex with wife Kasia on the show.
The business consultant came under fire for repeatedly saying a more ‘petite’ woman were his usual type.
This led viewers to accuse him of ‘fat shaming’ Kasia, who runs a successful body contouring business.
Despite several attempts to get intimate with Kwame, he appeared to knock her back every time. But, after an intervention from the show's sex therapist Charlene Douglas, things heated up.
Following a backlash from viewers of the Channel 4 reality show, Kwame insists he did find Kasia attractive.
But he claims he didn’t want to jump straight into bed with his wife – as he feared being branded a ‘stereotypical black man’.

The 42-year-old Londoner said he was “suffering” as he did want to be sexually active, but was advised by family and friends not to go in quickly “like I usually do”.
He told MailOnline : “I definitely found Kasia attractive. She knew I found her attractive. I always made clear I found her attractive and that I had dated women that look like her.
“We shared a bed for six weeks, we cuddled, we danced, we held each other, we spooned, we kissed, she would fall asleep on my shoulder – there was all of that.”
Kwame explained there are a lot of negative connotations and stereotypes about black men.
“I didn’t want to be seen that way, especially knowing that my children and family were going to be watching,” he added.
Kwame also took to Instagram earlier this month to explain why he didn’t let Kasia see his house on the show.
The entrepreneur was filmed telling Kasia he was “secretive” when it came to the Home Stays task in the show.
This led some viewers to believe Kwame was still living with his ex-wife, who he shares two daughters with.
Although Kasia let Kwame into her London home – where he received a grilling from her sisters – he took her to a park bench and a restaurant where she met his pals.
It was Kwame’s refusal to open up his real life to her that ultimately led to the couple leaving the experiment in episodes shown on Channel 4 last week.
Since then Kasia – who claims it was Kwame who chased her on the show and not the other way round – has even edited snaps from her wedding day.
Sharing the updated pictures on Instagram, the mum-of-two removed all trace of Kwame, covering his face in big red scribbles.
She captioned the post: “I’m rooting for the remaining couples. I LOVE, LOVE.”
Referencing her failed marriage to Kwame, she told her 171,000 followers: “This 1 was NEVER going to be for me and I’m okay with that.
“The wedding was a practice run & I’ve learned what NOT to do next time. More importantly, I get to choose everything to its finest detail when the ULTIMAE REAL BIG day happens.”
Making another dig at Kwame, Kasia continued: “My husband will have good taste in clothes and will NOT turn up at the end of the aisle in an old man’s red suit."
She added: “A man who is true to himself, hustles just like me, if not harder and likes to live a ‘too bless 2 be stressed’ kinda lifestyle.”
